Twilight weddings suit couples who want a later start, a more informal flow, and a celebration that feels warm and sociable from the first drink to the last dance. We’ve shaped this package around ease: fewer formalities, generous buffet-style food, and plenty of time to enjoy your evening.

- Access to the dressing room from noon until your ceremony, with refreshments provided.
- A celebratory drink and canapés for you and your guests after the ceremony.
- An informal two-course buffet, with no seating plan needed.
- A glass of sparkling wine for toasting during the speeches.
- Warm white fairly lights around every post in the Tithe Barn.
- Chairs, white linen, crockery, cutlery and glassware for the main barn.
- Our resident DJ.
- An overnight stay for the two of you in the master suite.
Guest Numbers
A twilight wedding suits up to 100 guests joining you for the afternoon and evening. If you’d like to invite more, additional guests can be added for a supplementary charge.

What is a twilight wedding?
A twilight wedding is a shorter, relaxed celebration that starts later in the day and feels more like a party than a formal sit-down wedding. Guests arrive at about 3:30pm and your ceremony starts at about 4pm. Then there are drinks, canapés, an informal buffet, a sparkling toast and dancing with our DJ. Your celebration finishes at 11pm on Sundays to Thursdays and at midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
What food is included?
A celebratory drink and canapés after your ceremony, followed by an informal two-course buffet. There’s no fixed table plan, and there’s casual seating rather than a seat for every guest. Evening food isn’t included with Twilight, but you can add it as an optional extra.
Is there enough seating for all our guests?
Not for everyone at once, and that’s deliberate. Twilight weddings are set up like a party, not a formal dinner. When you walk into the Tithe Barn, our DJ is already playing and the celebration has begun. Guests help themselves to the buffet when they’re ready, and they move between chatting, eating and dancing. There’s casual seating throughout for anyone who’d like to sit down, including older guests and anyone who needs a seat.
Can we upgrade to a seated meal?
A twilight wedding is designed as a relaxed party, so we don’t offer a seated meal with this package. If a sit-down meal with a table plan is important to you, our Informal Day package could be perfect. It has a sociable two-course seated buffet, where every guest has a seat, with the same relaxed feel. It starts from £8,400 in 2028. We’d be happy to talk you through both options.
When is a twilight wedding available, and how much does it cost?
Twilight is available Monday to Thursday and on Sundays all year round. It’s available on Fridays and Saturdays in January, February, March and November. 2028 Twilight weddings start from £7,800, including VAT. See our Wedding Prices page for the full price table.
How many guests can we invite?
Twilight is designed for up to 100 guests. Extra guests are £45 each.
