Our Barn Wedding Venue - Key Information
We have designed our venue to give you a full wedding day experience in one setting.
You can host up to 160 guests for your ceremony and wedding breakfast, invite up to 250 for the evening, choose an indoor or outdoor ceremony, and keep your closest family and friends on site in 15 ensuite bedrooms.
We want the day to feel relaxed and beautifully looked after.
Our experienced team will help everything flow smoothly, so you and your guests can settle in, celebrate properly, and enjoy the morning after together.

Twilight Weddings at Cooling Castle Barn
Twilight weddings are perfect if you want a later start, a more relaxed flow, and a celebration that feels warm, sociable and full of atmosphere. Exchange your vows as the afternoon turns to evening, then gather with your favourite people for drinks, delicious canapés and generous buffet-style food, before dancing the night away.
With fewer formalities and more time simply to enjoy the moment, it’s a beautiful way to celebrate with the people you love most. Your twilight wedding also includes an overnight stay, so you can relax and savour the occasion a little longer. Packages start from £8,200 for 100 guests.
Warm Winter Barn Weddings
Winter weddings at Cooling Castle Barn offer all the romance and celebration of a full wedding day, with the added magic of a warm, atmospheric barn setting. Exposed beams, soft lighting and an all-in-one venue create a welcoming backdrop for your ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening party – whatever the weather brings outside.
Our winter packages offer excellent value without compromising on the experience. Prices start from £7,800 for 50 day guests and an additional 70 evening guests, giving you the space and flexibility to celebrate with the people who matter most. From the moment your guests arrive, our experienced team will be on hand to make the day feel relaxed, personal and effortlessly looked after.

Food and drink are an important part of every celebration at Cooling Castle Barn. From your first welcome drink and canapés through to your wedding breakfast, evening food and final toast, our menus are designed to feel generous, delicious and relaxed.

How much does a wedding at Cooling Castle Barn cost?
Our all-inclusive 2028 wedding packages start from £7,800 and go up to £18,800 for a peak-season Saturday. All prices include VAT. Your price depends on the day of the week, the time of year, your package and your guest numbers. Midweek and winter dates are our best value. What is included in the wedding price?
Every package includes exclusive use of the venue, planning support from our wedding coordinators, a private dressing room, your ceremony, food and drinks for your guests, our resident DJ, furniture, linen, tableware and fairy-light styling, free parking, and your wedding night in our Master Suite. In December, the whole venue is decorated for Christmas. The food and drink included depend on the package you choose. How many guests can we invite?
Up to 160 day guests for your ceremony and wedding breakfast, and up to 250 guests in total for your evening celebration. Your traditional package includes 50 or 80 day guests, depending on the day of the week, and 120 evening guests. You can add more guests up to our maximum. Twilight weddings include up to 100 guests – but you can add more.
Can we get married outside?
Yes. Our outdoor Pavilion is licensed for legal ceremonies, so you can say your vows in the Kent countryside. If the weather turns, our Fathom Barn is a beautiful indoor alternative. You and your coordinator decide together on the morning of your wedding. You can explore the venue, view the virtual tour, and see some real life weddings to get an idea of the different spaces.
Do you have accommodation on site?
Yes. Your wedding night in the Master Suite is included. We also have 15 en-suite guest bedrooms, so your closest family and friends can stay over. The accommodation page will give you more information. You can currently reserve all 15 rooms, with breakfast, from £2,250.
