Our daughter Roxanne chose your venue for her wedding to Gary Lawson on Sunday 22nd April 2012. My wife and I just wanted to say a huge "thank you" to everyone there at the Barns for making both the wedding and the whole situation such a great success. From the girls on the hotel reception, to the cleaners and the maintenance staff, everyone was friendly and helpful.
In particular we wanted to say "well done" to our two Duty Managers and all their staff, both front and back of house for a job superbly done.
The wedding itself was a smooth dream and the rooms all looked fabulous. Everyone had a really great time and that was due in no small measure to the professional, yet friendly and helpful attitude shown by all the staff. The food was great and personally I was disappointed that I was still so full from the wedding breakfast that I couldnt manage any of the BBQ, which im reliably informed was equally as good.

We would just like to pass on our gratitude to ALL the staff who enabled Sunday's reception to be such a memorable day.
We would like to pay particular thanks to our Toastmaster who officiated at Sean and Alicia's wedding on Sunday 8th January. She was exceptionally helpful and very courteous, with an exceedingly friendly and affable manner.
The Groom's Grandmother is wheelchair bound, and the Toastmaster spoke with her upon arrival to show her daughter/ carer where the disabled toilet was situated. Throughout the day and evening she continually ensured that life was made so much easier regarding the wheelchair and our comfort.
I am sure you relaise what a wonderful asset she is to your venue. She is obviously a natural in her role.

Our experience of Cooling Castle was wonderful. Your staff must be commended. Calm efficiency with warmth and politeness; nothing being too much trouble and all carried out by staff who obviously enjoy what they do and take great pride in providing a first class service. Ably guided by the Toastmaster, we felt the occasion was in very safe hands.
Our accommodation was clean, fresh and readily available to us - even though we arrived a little early! Our very grateful thanks to your hospitality team, they were excellent. The decorations both floral and Christmas were tasteful and appropriate, whilst the entertainment provided by the wedding singer together with the music later in the evening was wonderful.
We now find ourselves looking through all the wonderful photographs taken throughout the day, photos which truly reflect the enjoyment of one and all!

Thank you so much for a fantastic day, it was faultless! The staff at Cooling Castle Barn are so friendly and helped the whole day run smoothly. We were kept in contact with from start to finish, making sure that everything was organised and just how we wanted it. The Cooling Castle Barn team made it a very calm experience. Our Toastmaster was great and very funny, chatting to all our guests making sure they were ok.
It was an unusually sunny day for October and quite warm which just made the day even better, the whole day was perfect. Our guests were amazed by the venue, every time we see them they don't stop talking about how great the food was and what a wonderful place it is. It defiantly gave everyone the WOW factor!
We would also like to mention our photographer Dave Cosens at Photogenic Images. We chose Dave because we saw some of his photographs hanging up in the meeting room at Cooling Castle Barn and loved the fact that he has done numerous weddings at the venue and knows where to take the best photographs. When we met Dave he was so friendly and talked us through what to do on the day which made the whole photograph experience easy and quick so that we were not away from our guests for too long on the day. Our wedding photos are amazing and we would definitely recommend using Photogenic Images.

Well it's been a week since our big day and what can I say...
When we told people we were getting married and arranging most of it from Australia they honestly thought we were crazy, however myself and Greg felt confident we would be able to manage it, purely because it didn't seem to faze you guys. I cannot recommend your services enough, from day one you were professional, accommodating and extremely passionate about what you do, and so you should be, you do a truly amazing job. The interactive wedding planner tool was a complete godsend, if ever I felt like I needed to check something I could in an instant, time zones can sometimes make things difficult but having the IWP it made it so simple.
The day was perfect in every way, the Duty Manager made me feel completely at ease and everyone was commenting at the beautiful setting and amazing atmosphere. We cannot thank you enough for being flexible and allowing us to relax into out day. Our toastmaster was a real asset, she even held my lippie for me :) Everyone has been emailing saying how wonderful the food was, catering such a large number can be hard at the best of times but doing it with such high standards is amazing. The little extra touches were really appreciated, the cheese and biscuits in our room were perfect - I was starving. Our guests who stayed were raving about the rooms and breakfast, just ended our special day amazingly. We honestly had the best day in the world and I can honestly say that if it wasn't for Cooling Castle Barn it wouldn't have been half as good - thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

My husband and I had the pleasure of attending our son & daughter-in-laws wedding at Cooling Castle Barn recently and what a wonderful occasion it was. The staff were faultless. Nothing was too much trouble - any queries were met with solutions. We were a "mixed bag" with ages ranging from six month old twins to a frail eighty-seven year old. All were treated courteously by your cheerful, friendly staff. The sun shone, the Bride was beautiful and all your efforts contributed to a splendid, memorable day.

I attended my cousins Wedding on Sunday 17th July (Gary & Lucy) and also stayed overnight in your accommodation. Everything was outstanding. The venue was absolutely superb and the staff, at every moment, and on every level, were so attentive, polite and helpful. I was blown away by the sheer beauty of the barns. Dinner was delicious and the table settings were beautiful. I could not fault the accommodation, comfort, facilities, cleanliness, it was all 5*.
Thank you for making it such a wonderful day for my cousin. As I'm sure you'll agree, she made a stunning bride.
