Dear All at Cooling
I have just returned home from the most fantastic occasion on Monday. From the day Jo and Si visited Cooling for the first time we have all been looking forward to the day-you do not disappoint. Not only is the venue the most fantastic place to marry but the food and service were without fault. The attention to detail throughout the day and evening was commented on by so many of the guests and I will continue to re-live their most wonderful day,made special by the actions of all those working at Cooling, who we found to be so attentive and friendly.

Our daughter Catherine Married Girish Sreedharan at your venue on Friday, 12th February. I cannot praise your staff enough for all their help and attention, not only on the day but from the moment the date was arranged. Every member of your staff made us feel as if our wedding was the most important wedding ever to be arranged. Nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was so courteous and helpful the day was perfect. I cannot thank you all enough.
I obviously was unable to thank everyone personally and did not meet the chefs or room cleaners so please would you thank everyone involved.
All our guests have commented on the day in a positive way and we are all in agreement that we could not have wished for a more wonderful day. I could go on for ever, and envy all the couples marring at Cooling in the furure.

All of our guests were stunned by the location. Since the time that we booked, the service received has been excellent at all times. we would have no problem recommending Cooling Castle Barn to anyone in the furure.

Dear All at Cooling Castle Barn,
Please find enclosed the completed questionnaire as requested for our Wedding on the 1st October 2009. You'll find that we are extremely pleased with how the whole day went, however we don't think the questions allow us to express just how grateful we are to all of the people who worked so hard to make our day so special.
Right from our first meeting, we felt that absolutely nothing we tentatively suggested was too much trouble, to the lady who took us through our rehearsal and final checks, down to the waitresses on the day, each member of staff was polite and attentive and you felt that anything you asked for had their full attention.
The Duty Managers, who were very efficient and helpful, always seemed to appear just when you needed them.
The venue looked stunning and all of our guests were amazed by its beauty. The hog roast was spectacular and tasted as good as it looked - we couldn't bear to leave any behind! The DJ played all the songs we asked for and the accommodation was first class.
We really appreciated the ease of contact in the run up to the day, everything was very well laid out in the booking forms and we knew exactly what we were getting. Any time we had a question we could ring and it was answered immediately. All the other venues we viewed tried to force a standard day upon us but CCB's flexibility let us have our Wedding day just as we wanted.

Hello,
Just wanted to provide some customer feedback on our stay.
My husband and I stayed in your accommodation on the night of the 26th August 2009, following attending our friend's Wedding. We were able to check in abit early so we had time to get changed before the ceremony. We stopped in at the bar to get a sandwich. The bar staff were friendly and the snack range just right for what we needed. The Wedding was beautiful, the setting perfect, the weather held out and the beautiful green in the middle was perfect for photos. The room was a good size and the toiletries luxurious. The staff serving the Wedding Breakfast were quick and efficient and I didn't feel that some tables had to wait a long time after the top table had been served as is often the case at Weddings. The facilities were very well thought out, the rooms had good well placed mirrors for getting ready and the furniture appeared to be very recently bought, clean and fitted in well with the overall look of the place. Everything worked and the whole place had a really nice atmosphere.
It was all so perfect that on our wander round before the Wedding even started, I became tearful looking into the Wedding Breakfast room as it all looked so lovely.
A completely perfect day and if I hadn't already got married I would definitely have considered your venue for our day.
So thank you to all the staff involved. I felt compelled to write as people are quick to criticise when something is wrong but I'm sure less forthcoming when everything is perfect.

We cannot find the words to describe how wonderful everything was. From the moment we booked the wedding to the moment we left the morning after the wedding, everything was perfect!! We had our wedding with you on January 16th 2009. We just wanted to send you an email to say a massive thank you for the most wonderful day of our lives!! All of the staff were fantastic, not only on the day but leading up to the big day itself.
Everything went smoothly despite the fact that the coach was hugely late and the wedding delayed - the staff managed this perfectly and allowed our wedding and the timings to run smoothly despite the delay. The venue was gorgeous, the food out of this world, everyone who looked after us simply amazing, the Toastmaster fantastic, the DJ was spot on with the music, the waiting staff were wonderful. We just can't express enough how simply magical and perfect it all was.
All of our friends and family have said it is the best wedding they have ever been to. Everyone is still raving about the wonderful, venue, staff and food. They all loved the carvery. I would just like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the most fantastic day on Sunday. There was nowhere else I would have even considered to celebrate. People still talk about CCB after Natashas' Wedding there nearly 8 years ago and always say that it is the best Wedding they have ever been to.
Everything was perfect - the barn speaks for itself, the food was outstanding and the staff as always were charming and so attentive. I would especailly like to thank the Duty Manager who thought of everything and was the perfect hostess. I had so many calls on Monday from guests who all said that everything was absolutely wonderful and that if they ever had a celebration that is where they would want it.

Every single detail - from the pre-planning to the day itself - was, quite simply, perfect. Nothing was too much trouble, every single member of staff was just amazing and the day itself passed without a hitch. We were blown away by how magical our wedding was, it truly was the day of our dreams. Your staff were so helpful and cheerful. They - and you - made sure that everything went according to plan.
As you know, our son was not feeling very well on the day and your staff really took control - making sure that the childminder who was with him got her meal, popping over to his bedroom so they could let us know when he woke up, in case he was asking for us, and keeping his meal to one side so that he could have his dinner once he'd slept and was feeling better. And all without us even having to ask. This meant that we could relax and enjoy our meal, knowing that you or a member of your team would let us know when he needed us.
Your chef and his team served up the most amazing food. I dont think i've ever seen such a high quality, wonderful meal served to so many people. The pork in particular really was incredible; all our guests commented on the quality of the food and the efficiency of your kitchen and serving staff.
The accommodation was of the highest quality too. We really enjoyed staying at Cooling Castle Barn - as well as the wonderful breakfast the following day!
Once again, thank you and your team for everything you did to make our day, quite simply, perfect. Your professionalism, passion and enthusiasm made our wedding (apart from the arrival of our children) the most amazing and wonderful day of our lives.

A family friend celebrated his civil partnership at Cooling and neither the guests nor he have a bad word to say against the staff. The package details are also amazing, offering great extras which I dont think any other venue can top. The setting of the barn interior and the table arrangements created a big 'wow' factor as we entered the barn before the ceremony. The barn anyway has a warm ambience (good for the speakers!) and this was enhanced by the understated performance of the staff who went about their tasks in such an efficient and friendly manner. A special praise for the Toastmaster and Duty Manager who oversaw the proceedings and ensured their smooth running.
The chefs must be complimented upon their fine cuisine at the Wedding Breakfast, the evening barbeque and the fine English breakfast on the Saturday morning. Nobody went hungry, it was absolutely superb!
All the feedback we have had has been very positive to the extent that it was 'the best Wedding people had been to', and the fact that there were no hitches at all on this important day was largely due to all your efforts.

We had a really good time with you at Cooling Castle. Do please thank all concerned for me. The gardens and whole site were beautiful, I think its very clever to keep it flowering so prefusely all summer. The MC & Managers were most courteous and efficient so, as we had been told, we didnt have to worry about a thing. The waitresses & bar staff were most attentive & efficient & as with all the other staff, looked very smart, especially with their white gloves. The MC looked spectacular in his scarlet.
The Tythe Barn looked magnificent as we went in for the Wedding Breakfast. The food was excellent and most guests commented about how much they enjoyed it. The DJ ran an excellent disco. After the Bridesmaids' and Ushers' dance with the Bride & Groom, the floor was full most of the time with dancers. A big thank you for serving the Breakfast earlier for the Bride & Groom so they could leave to catch their plane in time and the rooms were most comfortable & elegant.
